A prominent women's magazine always reminds its readers that a woman's sexiness comes from within. This look was best exemplified by Hollywood icons like Marilyn Monroe and Rita Hayworth. As these stars were usually shown clad in lace, the fabric became even more associated with notions of feminine sensuality.
